Web video.

Web video.

Make your website a TV channel . . .

And your company, your people and products the stars of every show!

Have you seen this abbreviation online: tl;dr? It stands for “too long; didn’t read.”

There are people who won’t read an article longer than a few sentences. And that makes me sad.

But these same folks, and a whole lot more, will watch video of anything and everything.

Especially when it lets them:

  • See exactly how your products solve their most pressing problems.
  • Meet the people who stand behind everything you do – and get to know, like and trust them. (Without spending a dime on travel!)
  • Have fun at the events that make your company a great place to do business. (And plan to come visit soon!)
  • Hear your customers talk about their experiences with your organization in their own words.
In short, video can help them get closer to a buying decision.

But, Mary. Video is really expensive.

It can be . . . If you hire a production company that normally works with rock stars and major corporations. If that’s the route you want to take, I’ll be happy to introduce you to several.

But real video can also be extremely cost-effective. Would you believe . . . starting at less than $300/month . . . for a fully-produced, high-definition video you can put on your site and post to social media every month?

Real video. Of your real events.

Because nothing is more powerful than real people being themselves.

Now, I’m not charging an arm and a leg. But, still. Here’s what I’m NOT talking about:

  • NOT warmed-over PowerPoint presentations with some boring narrator reading the bullet points.
  • NOT some cheesy sales script that looks like those awful car-dealer commercials you see on local TV.
  • NOT cut-together footage from the training DVDs you get from your suppliers that would bore all but your techiest prospects to tears.
  • NOT even, putting you or your people in a room and shooting video of you giving a sales presentation. (That’s not what this is for. Video is about building relationships.)

But also,

  • NOT those smarmy, self-important, let’s-pretend talk-show formats done in industrial-park studios – that don’t fool anyone for a minute.
  • NOT a bunch of amateur-hour, faux-filmmaking techniques that try to do more than we can, with more skill than we have – that also don’t fool anyone for a minute.

If I can quote my friend Jack Goldenberg for a minute, who ought to know – he was the creative director on the Happy Meal and Cabbage Patch Kids, after all – and you can read this for yourself here:

Obviously these aren’t lavish productions, but they’re very well produced and the cost to a small businessperson is incredibly affordable. Very nice, solid work that’s a great way to add fresh content at a minimal cost. Jack

But you WILL get a solid, well-conceived, and most important, real representation of what whoever’s on camera is saying, thinking, feeling and doing at that particular point, boiled down to its essentials and cut together with only the special effects that add to reality, not distract us from it.

(Okay. If you must know, that’s sell copy for sticking in a ray of light to cover up a really jerky edit, when it’s either that or having someone say, “uh, uh, uh,” for the 42nd time in five minutes . . .)

(. . . What were you expecting in a $300 video, exactly?)

Buy more. Save more.

So if one video a month is $300, two must be $600, and three must be $900, right?

Of course not. At least, not while I’m still learning.

And not while I don’t have to hire anyone.

Nope. Here’s the deal instead.

Now, when you hit JOIN, the button will take you over to the shopping cart on my alterego site – http://ezbiztv.com. Where, you’ll notice, I’m making this same deal to folks who prefer to read web pages in red and grey.

You’ll also notice there’s a fair amount of video-specific info that you’re more than free to check out.

But until I get a few more things worked out over here, I’m keeping the bells and whistles I install over here (like shopping carts) to a minimum. It’s a coding thing, so I hope you understand. But it’s all the same person, and all the same entity that’s been producing results and adding capabilities for my clients for more than 30 years.

At any rate, so I know that you’re serious, I do ask you to put down your first month’s deposit. When I see that you’ve joined, I’ll be back to you within 24 hours to get going on your project.

Limit 6 members at these prices.

I can only handle about six clients at this pricing. When I have six, either from here or ezbiztv, I’ll have to take this offer down.
